I'm so sorry to hear about your family loss 💖 What a beautiful piece (as always). I think sometimes we don't give ourselves credit for being creative because it's not 'art' but it's creativity to figure out how to make a recipe work with what we have or repurpose a piece of furniture by painting it another colour... It can be anything!

Thank you, Catherine. ❤️ And yes, exactly!! Creativity is so broad! I think everyone is creative in some way or another.

Was it Sara Tasker (of Me & Orla) who said "Constraint breeds creativity"? I think about that often.

You are just the sweetest. Thank you so much, Hayley. I don’t really have a children’s books at this stage, just lots of snippets and scraps of ideas, but I know one day they’ll all come together!🤞🏻❤️

Well you do, even if it is a little baby seed of an idea. I also think you could do an amazing book on little cute animal characters and how we can be more like them. Channeling our inner child, a self-help storybook for adults. It would be amazing. 🤩

I will definitely do a post one day! I’ve done a couple of batches of candles now but I am still figuring it all out. Will post about it once I’ve got the process down! 😊

I've never related to an article more. I find that whenever I'm struggling mentally, working on something creative always alleviates the worrisome fog hanging over my head so that I don't jump to rash conclusions. Writing has been one of those forms, but other activities have come to the rescue also. Wishing your family well during this tough period.
